The Topeka Daily Capital Friday December 2, 1960 P. Stromquist Rites Planned For Saturday. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday for Peter L. STROMQUIST, 80, 523 Harrison, who died Thursday in a Topeka hospital after a short illness. He was born at Freemount, Kan., March 14, 1880. He lived in Fort Stockton, Tex., and moved here in 1922. He was a machinist for the Santa Fe Railway until retirement in 1948. Mr. Stromquist was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Topeka. Surviving are a daughter, Miss Ethel Stromquist of the home; a son, L.M. Stromquist, 615 Roosevelt; two sisters, Mrs. Edna KITTELL of McPherson and Mrs. Ida JOHNSON of Jamestown, N.Y.; two grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. Graveside services will be at the Freemount Cemetery near Lindsborg at 3 p.m. Saturday.
