The Topeka Daily Capital Sunday April 5, 1936 Dies In Kansas City. Randolph B. Adams' Death Follows Brief Illness. Randolph B. ADAMS, 36, manager of the Kansas City Sales Book Co., and son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles P. Adams, of Topeka, died Saturday in St. Lukes hospital in Kansas City, Mo. His death followed an illness of about three weeks aht started with the flu, and developed into serious complications. Adams was born in Topeka, December 12, 1900, and educated in the Topeka schools. After graduating from Topeka high school he attended the University of Kansas. He was a member of the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity. After graduating from the university he went into the ranching business near Las Vegas, N.M. Later he came to Topeka and was connected with the Adams Brothers Manifold Printing Co. He was manager of the Kansas City book company for 13 years, and made his home in Kansas ity at the Woodlea hotel. He has made several European trips, and has visited the Orient. Besides his parents he is survived by two brothers, John P. Adams and Edward C. Adams of Topeka and a sister, Mrs. John Donaldson of Pittsburgh, Pa. Funeral services will be Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Wall-Diffenderfer mortuary. Burial will be in Mount Hope cemetery.
