The Topeka Daily Capital Monday July 17, 1939 Nels P. Johnson. Nels P. JOHNSON, 84, died Sunday at his home, 2402 Seward Avenue. He was born October 28, 1855, in Elmhult, Sweden; came to Olsburg, Kan., in 1884, and had been a resident of Topeka for many years. He was a member of the Lutheran Church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Tilda JOHNSON, of the home; four sons, William, George, Carl, and Harry Johnson, all of Topeka; two daughters, Mrs. Gene HOUGHEY, Topeka, and Mrs. Ansel SCOTT, Ogden, Utah; one sister, in Sweden and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary, with interment in Topeka Cemetery.
