The Topeka Daily Capital Friday March 28, 1958 Dr. Elizabeth Sweet. Dr. Elizabeth SWEET, 41, former Topekan, died March 23, in San Jose, Calif. Doctor Sweet was the daughter of Ray UFFORD, former manager of the J.C. Penny Store in Topeka, and Mrs. Ufford. She was graduated from the University of Kansas Medical School and later took a course in pathology in New York City. She practiced under the professional name of Elizabeth U. CORBETT. She had planned to open her own laboratory in San Jose when her last illness developed. Besides her parents, now of Campbell, Calif., she is survived by her husband, Louis F. Sweet of the home a son, David Kevin Sweet, 4, of the home. Funeral services were in San Jose, Calif.
