The Topeka Daily Capital Monday July 17, 1939 George W. Case. George W. CASE, 87, died Sunday at his home, 1005 Bellview Aveune. He was born January 9, 1852, in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. He came to Kansas in 1887 and had been a resident of Topeka since 1899. He was a charter member of the Highland Park Methodist Church and at the time of his death was a member of the East Side Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Eunice Case of the home; one son, Charles Case, Topeka; one daughter, Mrs. Elsie SCRITCHFIELD, also of Topeka; on sister, Mrs. Emma SNOOK, Topeka; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary, with interment in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
