The Topeka Daily Capital Monday June 12, 1939 Swan Olson. Swan Olson, 85, bricklayer and stonemason, died Sunday night at his home, 1025 Lane Street. He was born March 23, 1854 in Sweden and had made his home in Topeka since 1885. He was a charter member of the Bricklayers and Stonemasons Union of Topeka and was a member of Sunflower Camp. No. 536, Modern Woodmen of America. He is survived by two daughters, Miss Helen and Miss Mabel OLSON; a son, Norris OLSON, and a grandchild, Marimae OLSON, all of Topeka. The body will lie in state at Penwell's Funeral Home pending funeral arrangements. Burial will be in Topeka Cemetery.
