The Topeka Daily Capital Saturday November 10, 1951 Mrs. Emma Gardner. Mrs. Emma K. GARDNER, 90, widow of Isaac P. Gardner, died Friday morning at her home, 1113 Monroe. She had lived in Topeka since 1901 and was a member of the Church of the Brethren. Her husband died in 1923. She is survived by a son, Isaac C. Gardner, Topeka; nine daughters, Mrs. Kate Freeman, Miss Nellie B. Gardner, and Mrs. Geraldine Foster all of Topeka; Mrs. Rachel Joy, Edmonds, Wash.; Mrs. Hazel Brackman, Omaha, Neb.; Mrs. Verna Johnson, Kansas City, Mo.; Mrs. Bessie Preble, Maywood, Calif.; Mrs. Delpha Blomgren, Denver, Colo.; and Mrs. Josephine Pollakoff, El Paso, Texas; 24 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday, at the Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary, with burial in Rochester Cemetery.
