    3. Hi George: I have searched through several Kansas newspapers circa 1895 for obituary/death announcements so they do exist! The Kansas State Historical Society has old newspapers on microfilm that are available to many local libraries accross the country through the InterLibraryLoan (ILL) program. The link for more information is: http://www.kshs.org/library/news.htm I don't know if the KSHS will conduct searches for you but it couldn't hurt to contact them and find out. Good luck!
