The Topeka Daily Capital Monday July 17, 1939 Miss Blanche Stewart. Miss Blanche STEWART, a school teacher in Topeka grade schools and Topeka High School for many years, died Sunday morning at her home in the Hurley Apartments, Eleventh and Harrison streets. She was born in Peru, Ind., and came to Topeka with her parents when a small child and had been a resident here since. She was a graduate of Columbia and Kansas universities. Miss Stewart had no immediate survivors. Funeral services will be Tuesday afternoon at 4 o'clock at Penwell's Funeral Home, with interment in Topeka Cemetery.
