The Topeka Daily Capital Sunday April 5, 1936 Peck. Mrs. Lyra PECK, 74, died Saturday southeast of Topeka. She was the wife of W.J. PECK, and was born September 7, 1861, on the farm where she died. Besides her husband she is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Mabel BANTA, of Overbrook, Mrs. Pearl DECKER of Tecumseh, Mrs. Ruth KNOSTMAN of Wamego, Mrs. Enid WILEY of Berryton and Mrs. Blanche COLE of Winners, S.D.; a son, Earle Peck of Tecumseh, and three sisters, Mrs. Lydia MEACHAM and Mrs. May WAKEMAN of Kingfisher, Okla., Mrs. Julia BRAXTON, of Los Angeles, Calif.
