The Topeka Daily Capital Thursday April 17, 1947 Mrs. Malina J. Copeland. Mrs. Malina J. COPELAND, 73, died Wednesday at her home, 312 East Seventeenth. She was born May 8, 1874, in Crocker, Mo. She had been a resident here 23 years. She was a member of the First Christian Church. Surviving are her husband, Samuel P. Copeland; five sons, T.W. Copeland of St. Louis, J.H. Copeland of Webster Grove, Mo., William E. Copeland and Albert of Topeka, and Glenwood of the home; four daughters, Mrs. A.B. THORNSBERRY of Hancock, Mo., Mrs. Daniel BAIR of Topeka, Mrs. Floyd A. McQUEEN of Topeka and Mrs. William SULLIVAN of St. Louis; a brother, J. E. BATES of Webster Grove, Mo.; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Burial will be in Crocker, Mo.
