The Topeka Daily Capital Friday April 18, 1947 Mrs. Elizabeth Fitschie. Mrs. Elizabeth Walta FITSCHIE died Thursday at her home, 735 Twiss. She was born in Smyrna, Tenn., and had lived in Topeka for about 35 years. Mrs. Fitschie was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, and Myra Chapter No. 5, OES. She had been secretary of Myra Chapter for a number of years. Surviving are her mother, Mrs. Ella RIDLEY, of the home; one sister, Mrs. Eulah CLARK, of Detroit, Mich.; one aunt, Mrs. Pennie Mason BRIGGS, of Topeka; one uncle, Ezekiel RIDLEY, of Topeka; one niece and two nephews. The body was taken to the Gaines and Son Funeral Home pending funeral arrangements.
