The Topeka Daily Capital Wednesday January 17, 1951 Perkins, Retired Capper Employee, Dies at 65. Claud PERKINS, 65, retired Capper Publications building superintendent, died Tuesday morning at his home, 634 Horne. He was born April 25, 1885, in Lawson, Mo., and had lived in Topeka since 1913. He formerly was an employee in the construction department of the Santa Fe, and from 1935 until 1946 was with Capper Publications. He was a member of Central Congregational Church and Orient Lodge 51, A.F. & A.M. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Edna Perkins; a daughter, Mrs. Charles HOWES and two grandchildren, Steve and Harriet Howes, all of 527 Danbury Lane, and two sisters, Mrs. Paul W. HUNTING of 1277 Lane and Mrs. D.H. SANDERSON of Dearborn, Mich.
