The Topeka Daily Capital Monday February 6, 1961 Wilson Coffman Dies Here at 70. Wilson R. COFFMAN, 70, of Topeka died Sunday in a local hospital. He was a retired salesman. Mr. Coffman was born July 2, 1890, at Overbrook, and lived most of his life in Topeka. He was a Navy veteran of World War I. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Wila Jean NEAL, 420 Yorkshire Road; two sons, Wilson R. Coffman Jr., of Whittier, Calif., and Vincent Coffman of Houston, Tex.; three brothers, Ross A Coffman and Joseph H. Coffman both of Overbrook and Floyd W. Coffman of Lawrence, and nine grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Overbrook Methodist Church with burial in the Overbrook Cemetery. Legion services will be at the grave. The body will lie in state at the Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary until 11 a.m. Wednesday.
