The Topeka Daily Capital Saturday March 29, 1958 Mrs. Mary Edgerton. Mrs. Mary Bardwell EDGERTON, 85, died Friday at the Methodist Home for the Aged. She was born June 10, 1872, on a farm in Atchison County and came to Topeka in 1918. For 20 years she was a primary teacher in the Topeka school system. Mrs. Edgerton was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Beta Sigma Guild, Beta Travelers Club, and a 50-year member of Beulah Chapter 34, OES. Survivors include her husband, Thomas A. Edgerton of the Methodist Home; two step-daughters, Miss Helen Edgerton, 1172 Webster and Mrs. Ruth DAGUE, Chicago; four stepsons, Arthur D. Edgerton, Los Angeles; Harold A. Edgerton, New Canaan, Conn.; Edwin Edgerton, Okmulgee, Okla.; and Richard Edgerton, Overland Park; 11 stepgrandchildren and two stepgreat-grandchildren, and six nieces, Mrs. Fred BLAKE, Oklahoma City; Mrs. Harry BRIDGMAN, and Mrs. Hazel HOPKINS, both of Los Angeles; Mrs. Eugene CONDON, Kansas City, Mo.; Mrs. Ruth GARDINER, 2715 Huntoon, and Mrs. Dorothy MARTINSON, Van Nuys, Calif. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the McMichael Memorial Home with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
