The Topeka Daily Capital Friday October 12, 1951 James Hurle. James HURLE, 87, of 3217 Seward, died Thursday in a Topeka hospital. He was born December 26, 1864, in Wilshire, England, and settled in Osage County when he was 16 years old. he had made his home in Topeka and vicinity since 1910. He was a car carpenter at the Santa Fe shops for 22 years, retiring in 1935. He was a member of the Pentecostal Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Charlottie Jane Hurle of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Pearl SHEARER of the home and Mrs. Ruby HELSTROM, Little Rock, Ark.; two sons, Earl Hurle, Topeka, and Trafford Hurle, Kansas City, Mo.; a half-sister, Mrs. Rose PICKETT, Cleveland, Ohio, and a granddaughter. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
