    3. The Topeka Daily Capital Sunday April 2, 1961 Walter S. McKay. Walter S. McKAY, 77, of Wichita, died there Saturday after a four-months illness. He was born, Nov. 24, 1883, in Independence, and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wichita. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Flossie McKay, at home; two sons, Clarence McKay, 625 MacVicar and kenneth McKay of Wichita; a duagher, Mrs. Dorothy Schwartz of Russell; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was a teacher 20 years in Montgomery County and taught in high school at Russell. He worked 12 years for the Boeing Airplane Co. of Wichita before retirement. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the First Baptist Church of Wichita with burial in the Old Mission Cemetery at Wichita. The DeVorss-Gard Funeral Home of Wichita is in charge.
