The Topeka Daily Capital Sunday April 2, 1961 Local Woman Dies at Age 87. A resident of Topeka five years, Mrs. Virda C. WOODWARD, 87, 2939 Virginia, died Saturday in a Topeka hospital. Born Aug. 22, 1873, at McFall, Mo., she was a member of the Methodist Chruch and Woodman of the World. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Nadine JONHSTONE, 2939 Virginia and Mirs. Lolita HOUSTON of Homestead, Fla.; a son, John W. WOODWARD of Columbia, Mo.; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Services will be at Stewartsville, mo. Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary is in charge locally.
