The Topeka Daily Capital Monday March 24, 1958 B.E. Allen. B.E. ALLEN, 79, resident of the Corning community more than 50 years, died Sunday at his home in Corning. He was born April 3, 1878, in Spring Valley, Minn. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Edith Allen, of the home; two sons, Elton Allen, Soldier; and Russell Allen, Centralia; a daughter, Mrs. Josie Hilbert, Boulder, Colo.; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Carl Allen, Home, and a sister, Mrs. Cottie Clark, Clay Center. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Corning Methodist Church with burial in Corning Cemetery.
