The Topeka Daily Capital Friday June 9, 1939 Mrs. Hazel Gordon. Mrs. Hazel GORDON, 30, died Thursday night at ther home, 624 West Grant Street. She was born November 10, 1909, in LaCygne, Kan., and had been a resident of Topeka for the past twenty-three years. She is survived by her husband, Lloyd Gordon; one son, Donald Gordon of the home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Wire, Topeka; two sisters, Mrs. Mable Mauer, New Mexico, and Miss Betty Wire, Topeka. The body was taken to Peebler's Funeral Home pending funeral arrangements.
