    3. The Topeka Daily Capital Saturday November 3, 1951 Herbert D. Taylor. Herbert D. TAYLOR, 69, died Friday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Milton Morford, in Holton. He operated the telephone exchange at Soldier for 23 years and later operated the exchanges at Onaga and Troy. he was at Troy five years before he retired from the business two years ago. He moved to Holton two months ago. He was member of the Troy Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Myrtle TAYLOR,of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Morford and Mrs. Robert Ward, both of Holton; two sons, Herbert J. Taylor, Topeka and Kenneth Taylor, Joliet, Ill.; a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Turner, Topeka; and two brothers, James W. and George C. Taylor, both of Holton. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Mercer's Funeral Home, Holton, with burial in Holton Cemetery.
