    3. The Topeka Daily Capital Wednesday April 1, 1936 M'Rae John McRAE, 58, died Tuesday morning at his home, 1141 North Kansas avenue. He was a former section foreman for the Rock Island railroad, and had moved to Topeka only three weeks ago. He was born in Bellmont, Miss. in 1878, and came to Kansas in 1921. He lived in Herington nine years before going to Clifton where he lived seven years. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Pauline McRae, and a daughter, Marlene, both of the home; a stepdaughter, Delnore Phelan of Hoyt, Kan.; his mother, Mrs. A.C. McRae, two brothers, Wallace and Robert and three sisters, Mrs. Alex Bernard, Miss Tina and Miss Ella McRae, all of Bellmont, Miss., and six children by a former marriage, Mrs. Maggie Shook, Booneville, Miss.; Shelly, Colonel, Leslie, John and Tascall, all living in Mississippit. Funeral arrangements are not complete.
