The Topeka Daily Capital Tuesday November 1, 1961 Lifelong Topekan W.E. Sipes Dies. A lifelong resident of Topeka, Worthington E. SIPES, 80, 2231 Minnesota, died Monday at a local hospital. He was born March 10, 1880, in Topeka, and was a member of Assumption Church. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mary C. Sipes of the home; two daughters, Miss Rose Sipes of the home and Mrs. Leola Nicholson, 1623 Sage; three sons, Richard E. Sipes, 2026 Hudson; Lee Sipes, 120 Quincy, and Thomas A. Sipes, Norwalk, Calif., and six grandchildren. Services wil be at 9 a.m. Thursday at Assumption Church with burial in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Parker Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
