The Topeka Daily Capital Saturday July 15, 1939 Wesley Fisher. Wesley FISHER, 73, retired Santa Fe employe, 802 East Thirteenth Street, died Friday in a local hospital. He was born at Abbeyville, S.C., December 28, 1865, and had been a resident of Topeka for the past twenty-six years. He was an employe of the Santa Fe for twenty-three years, retiring in 1936, and was a member of Brown's Chapel A.M.E. Church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Marie Fisher of the home; one daughter, Miss Lettie Fisher, Philadelphia, Pa.; William and Joe Fisher of Topeka; Ben Fisher, of Manhattan; and Taft Fisher, Pontiac, Mich.; two sisters, Mrs. Ellen Patten, Abbeyville, S.C., and Mrs. Fanne Chappell, Greenville, S.C.; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
