The Topeka Daily Capital Thurday April 2, 1936 Hardy. George Robert HARDY, 67, 1200 Washington street died, Wednesday afternoon at Stormont hospital. He was born in Riley county, North Carolina, May 30, 1868, and had been a resident of Topeka more than 50 years. He was employed at the state house here over 30 years. He is survived by one son, Aaron Hardy of Topeka and three daughters, Mrs. Flossie Goree, Miss Corrine Hardy and Miss Myrtle Hardy all of the home; one brother, Isaac Hardy of Topeka; three sisters, Mrs. Adelaide McNeil of New York City, and Mrs. Missouri McNeil and Mrs. Ella Howard, both of Topeka, and two grandchildren, George Coree and Miss Ruth Hardy of Topeka. The body will lie in state at Bowser's mortuary. Funeral arrangements are not complete.
