The Topeka Daily Capital Friday January 4, 1952 Mrs. Sophia Abke Dies Two Days After Husband. Mrs. Sophia ABKE, 86, widow of Frank L. Abke, died Thursday morning at her home, 1617 Central Park. Her death occurred two days after that of her husband. Mrs. Abke was born in 1865 in Leavenworth and had lived in Topeka 46 years. She and her husband had been married 58 years. She is survived by a son, Frank Abke, Indianapolis, Ind., and a sister, Miss Mollie Wissler, Leavenworth. Double funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home with burial in Mount Muncie Cemetery at Leavenworth.
