    3. The Topeka Daily Capital Wednesday March 1, 1961 Frank V. Conrad. Masonic services for a former Topekan, Frank V. CONRAD, 43, of Kansas City, will be at 4 p.m. today in the D.W. Newcomer's Sons Chapel at Brush Creek and Paseo in Kansas City. Born July 17, 1917, in Topeka, he was a graduate of Topeka High School and attended Washburn University and the University of Kansas before he entered the armed forces. Mr. Conrad was an instructor of pilots, served in the U.S. Air Force in England and held the rank of major at the time he was separated from the armed forces in May 1946. He moved to Kansas City, four years ago where he was employed at Sears, Roebuck and Company's Plaza store. He was a member of the Second Presbyterian Church in Topeka and later in Kansas City. He also belonged to the Masonic Lodge, American Legion, Elks, and formerly the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ione Conrad, a son, David Conrad, and two daughters, Betsy and Nancy, all of the home; his mother, Mrs. Roy Dewey, 3314 N. Central; his father, E.C. Conrad, 1824 Fairlawn, and several uncles, aunts, and cousins. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery at Kansas City.
