The Topeka Daily Capital Tuesday November 1, 1961 John H. Kamphaus. Services will at 8:15 a.m. Wednesdy in Kansas City, Kan., for John H. KAMPHAUS, 77, who died at a Kansas City hospital Sunday following a month long illness. He was born Aug. 17, 1883, at Wakefield, and moved to Kansas City in 1947. He retired from the Kansas City park department in 1959. He was a member of St. Peter and St. Paul Catholic Church at Clay Center. Survivors include his widow, Ruth, of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Marie Anderson, 1225 Forest; a son, Richard G., Kansas City, Kan., two sisters, Mrs. Theresa Bryan, Clay Center, Mrs. Annie Zurmely, Wakefield, Kan., and two grandchildren. Fulton Funeral Home, Kansas City, Kan., is in charge of arrangements.
