The Topeka Daily Capital Thursday January 3, 1952 Topekan Dies Of Auto Injuries. Clyde D. BAYLOR, of 524 Madison, died Wednesday night in a Topeka hospital from injuries suffered Friday night in a motorcar accident near Sixth and Madison. His skull was fractured. Duval D. Hudson, Route 5, driver of the car, told officers that he was blinded by lights from another car and did not see the aged man in the street until too late to avoid the accident. Baylor was born July 30, 1879, in Medina County, Ohio, and had made his home in Topeka 29 years. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Merrie Baylor of White City, Kan.; and four sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Olson, White City; Mrs. Nellie Sherman and Mrs. Minnie Sylvester both of Junction City, and Mrs. W.C. Davis, Topeka.
