The Topeka Daily Capital Friday November 2, 1951 James M. Lillard. James M. LILLARD, 74, retired farmer, died Thrusday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Margie Hoobler, 1829 Green Acres. He was born September 8, 1877, in Rossville and had made his home in that community his entire life. He was a member of the Rossville Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Myrtle Lillard of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Mildred Wymore, Miss Thelma Lillard and Mrs. Hoobler, all of Topeka; a brother, B.F. Lillard, Topeka and one granddaughter. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Rossville Methodist Church. Burial will be in Rossville Cemetery.
