The Topeka Daily Capital Wednesday March 1, 1961 Mrs. R.A. Smith. Services for Mrs. Beatrice L. SMITH, 57, 535 Sumner, will be at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Penwell-Gabel Chapel. She died Monday in a Topeka hospital. Born Sept. 5, 1903, at Hannibal, Mo., Mrs. Smith lived in Topeka since 1923. She was a member of Helena Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors include her widower, Robert A. Smith of the home; a son, Earl R. Smith, 911 Frazier; three grandchildren; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Perkins of Sedalia, Mo.; a sister, Mildred Perkins of Chicago, and a brother, Clarence Perkins, 549 Golden. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
