The Topeka Daily Capital Wednesday August 30, 1961 Mrs. V. Manning Dies Here at 70. Mrs. Vern MANNING, 70, died Tuesday in a Topeka hospital. She lived at 2015 E. 10th. She was born Dec. 8, 1890, at Clinton. She attended the First Assembly of God Church and was a member of the Ladies' Bible Class. She is survived by a son, John W. JONES of Des Moines, Iowa, a stepmother, Mrs. D. H. WARNER of 440 Freeman; two half-sisters, Miss Gladys WARNER and Mrs. Roy GODDELL of Fairbury, Ill.; and two half-brothers, Everett WARNER of 635 Grattan, and Ervin Warner of 718 Freeman. Services willbe held at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Parker Chapel. Interment will be in Clinton Cemetery.
