The Topeka Daily Capital Wednesday August 30, 1961 Cardell Thompson. Bowser Mortuary will announce arrangement for Cardell Douglas THOMPSON, 32, who died in a Topeka hospital Monday. He was born at Sand Springs, Okla., Feb. 1, 1929, and lived in Wichita before he moved to Topeka. He was veteran of the Korean conflict. Suriving are his mother, Mrs. Estella LANDRUM of Wichita; three sisters, Mrs. Bobbye JEan WATLEY of WIchita, Mrs. Queen E. REED, of Kansas City, and Miss Jo Ann THOMPSON of California; and a brother, Curtis THOMPSON, stationed with the U.S. Air Force in California.
