The Topeka Daily Capital Tuesday August 22, 1961 W.M. Bashor. W.M. BASHOR, retired employe of the Business Men's Assurance Co., was stricken while bowling with friends Monday and was dead on arrival at Stormont-Vail Hospital. He was 68. His companions said Mr. Bashor had finished bowling a frame at Southwest Bowl, 29th and Fairlawn. A few minutes later he slumped forward without a sound. Mr. Bashor was connected with Business Men's Assurance Co., for nearly 30 years and before that in Florence. He leaves a widow, Corrine and one son, John, an art instructor at Bethany College, Lindsborg, Kan.
