The Topeka Daily Capital Thursday August 31, 1961 Ethel Clark Is Dead After Long Illness. Mrs. Ethel Cheney CLARK, 71, 1327 Lane, a resident of Topeka, 30 years, died in a Topeka hospital Wednesday after an extended illness. She was born June 24, 1890, at Fort Scott, Kans., where she was educated. She attended Virginia Women's College and was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Marine Corps League. Surviving are a widoer, Charles C. Clark, at home; a daughter, Mrs. James F. DOUGHERTY of Wichita; a son, Orlando E. CLARK, 1725 Fairlawn; and 10 grandchildren. Another son, Charles C. Clark, died September 1950. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Penwell-Gabel Chapel with interment in a cemetery at Fort Scott.
