The Topeka Daily Capital Tuesday August 29, 1961 Janette McGuire. Oskaloosa.--Mrs. Janetta McGUIRE, 50, a grade school teacher here, died Monday at a Lawrence hospital. She taught school in Jefferson County for the past 27 years. She was born Dec. 10, 1910 in Ozawkie. Survivors include her widower, Richard at home; her mother, Mrs. Louise BALLAGH; and a brother, Julius Ballagh, both of Oskaloosa. Services will be announced by the Hampton Funeral Home in Oskaloosa.
