The Topeka Daily Capital Thursday November 4, 1965 Leroy Fowler. Oskaloosa.--Graveside services for Leroy J. FOWLER, 87, formerly of Topeka, will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the National Cemetery, Ft. Leavenworth. He died Tuesday night at the Fairview Nursing Home here. Born Aug. 8, 1878, in Emmett, Ark., he was a veteran of World War I. He served with the 35th Division of the 139th Infantry. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Elmer KUHN, 417 Scotland, Topeka; two sisters, Mrs. B.L. JAMES and Mrs. C.M. JAMES, both of Horatio, Ark.; one brother, Leon Leo Fowler, San Francisco; and six grandchildren. Hampton Funeral Home, Oskaloosa, is in charge of arrangements.
