The Topeka Daily Capital Saturday August 26, 1961 C.I. Randall Dies After Long Illness. Charles I. RANDALL, 62, of 538 Grattan, died in a Topeka hospital Friday after a long illness. He was in charge of the heating plant at Washburn University. Born July 27, 1899, at Dover, Okla., he served with the U.S. Army in World War I and the Merchant Marines in World War II. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Dorothy Randall of the home; and two sisters, Mrs. Paul WRIGHT of 946 Kellam, and Mrs. Walter SKELLS of Ottawa. Services will be at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 8 p.m. Monday. Parish rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Sunday in the Penwell-Gabel Chapel.
