    3. The Topeka Daily Capital Wednesday August 30, 1961 Arthur Boman Is Dead at 68; Rites Pending. Arthur L. BOMAN, 68, 2216 Wilmington Court, senior designer for the State Highway Department, died in a Topeka hospital Tuesday. He served the department more than 30 years. Born at Chanute Jan 25, 1893, he was educated in public schools there and was graduated from Kansas University. He was a member of the Kansas Engineering Society, a registered professional engineer, a member of the Tau Beta Phi, an honorary engineering fraternity, a member of The First Church of Christ, Scientist of Topeka and of the Mother Church of Christ, Scientist of Boston, Mass. He served in World War I in France. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Ruby Boman of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Rhoea LeFROIS of Wamego; a son, Lowell Boman of Pittsburg, Pa.; four grandchildren; a brother, Tom G. Boman of Pataskala, Ohio; and two sisters, Mrs. Lena BACON of Columbus, Ohio, and Miss Grace Boman of Chanute. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
