The Topeka Daily Capital Monday October 3, 1960 Edith K. Day. Mrs. Edith K. DAY, 59, of 1101 N. Van Buren, died Sunday morning in a Topeka hospital after an extended illness. She was born Oct. 31, 1900, in Dearborn, Mo. She moved to Topeka 35 years ago from Silver Lake. She was a member of the Helena Chapteer No. 210, Order of the Eastern Star, and the Seaman Community Church. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Betty J. Lewis, 2101 N. Winter; one son, Howard K. Day, 1728 Prairie Road; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Howard, 1912 N. Polk, Mrs. Lois Kuhn of Superior, Neb., Mrs. Sindie Brooke, 1215 W. 5th; one brother, David Stagner of Faucett, Neb.; three grandchildren, and her mother, Mrs. Mary E. Wyant of Topeka. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Penwell-Gabel Chapel with burial in Prairie Home Cemetery.
