The Topeka Daily Capital Monday October 3, 1960 Evans Murray. Evans MURRAY, 71, of 816 Polk, died Sunday in a Topeka hospital. Born Feb. 6, 1889, in Lyons, Tex., he had lived in Topeka since 1956. He was employed as an inspector for the Santa Fe Railroad for over 33 years, retiring in 1956. He was a member of the Trinity Methodist Church. Survivors include three brothers, W.R. Murray of Albuquerque, N.M., Marrien Murray of Lyons, and D.L. Murray of National City, Calif.; four sisters, Mrs. Ethel Buie of Coleman, Tex., Mrs. Estelle Whyte of Brownwood, Tex., Mrs. Malzin Hare of Caldwell, Tex., and Mrs. Lorrine Autrey of Houston, Tex. Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary is in charge.
