The Topeka Daily Capital Friday March 3, 1961 William Latter Is Dead at 56; Rites Saturday Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Wall-Diffenderfer Chapel for William Alfred LATTER, 56, 2028 Lincoln, who died Thursday in a Topeka hospital after a short illness. He was superintendent of maintenance at Forbes Air Force Base and was a master mechanic. Born Oct. 7, 1904, at Carbondale, he was a resident of Topeka 43 years, a member of the Methodist Church, Golden Rule Lodge No. 90, AF&AM, and the Scottish Rite. Suriving are a daughter, mrs. Marcia Meyer of St. Louis, Mo.; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William W. Latter, at home, and a brother, Robert E. Latter, 1906 W. Dudley. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Golden Rule Lodge No. 90 will officiate at the graveside.
