    3. The Topeka Daily Capital Thursday November 8, 1951 John F. Bayless. John F. BAYLESS, 72, widely-known Shawnee County stockman, died Wednesday morning at his home in Auburn. Mr. Bayless was born September 15, 1879, in Auburn and had made his home in the Auburn community all his life. He was a livestock feeder and was active in the business until his death. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Irene Bayless, of Auburn; four sons, John M. Bayless, tecumseh; Nevin D. and George E. Bayless, both of Topeka, and Wayne M. Bayless of the U.S. Marine Base in San Diego, Calif.; four daughters, Mrs. Gladys L. Henderson and Mrs. Marguerite L. Myers, both of Topeka; Mrs. Faye E. Loveland and Mrs. Frances Failer, both of Auburn; 24 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and four brothers, William W. Bayless, Auburn; Walter E. and Harvey T. Bayless, both of Topeka, and Harry M. Bayless, Oklahoma City, Okla. The funeral will be at the Auburn Methodist Church, but arrangements have not been completed.
