The Topeka Daily Capital Saturday January 5, 1952 Mrs. Carrie Bond. Mrs. Carrie Belle BOND, 77, died Friday at the Methodist Home for the Aged after a long illness. She was the widow of the late William F. Bond. Mrs. Bond had been a resident of Topeka for 40 years. She was born at Asheville, Kan., January 9, 1875. Mrs. Bond was a member of the Baptist Church of Beloit, the Royal Neighbors, the Order of the Eastern Star and Trinity Shrine at Kansas City. She is suvived by a son, John L. Hallam of Spokane, Wash., a granddaughter, Mrs. Mary Ellen Johnson of San Diego, a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Nellie Hallam of Seattle; a sister, Mrs. Alex Williams of Beloit; a niece, three nephews and several cousins. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at the Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Topeka Cemetery.
