The Topeka Daily Capital Saturday March 4, 1961 J.L. Prosser Is Dead at 86; Services Set. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Parker Mortuary for James L. PROSSER, 86, 901 N. Van Buren, who died Friday in a local hospital. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery at Lawrence. He was born in Douglas County, Nov. 19, 1874, and lived in Topeka 20 years. He was a veteran of the Spanish-American War. Surviving is a brother, Fred Prosser, 517 Locust.
