The Topeka Daily Capital Wednesday March 26, 1958 Russell S. Montgomery. Russell S. MONTGOMERY, 83, died Tuesday at his home, 1644 Buchanan. He was born August 2, 1874, in Topeka. Later he moved to Texas where he was engaged in farming. He retired and returned to Topeka seven years ago. He was a member of the Orient Lodge No. 51, A.F. & A.M. , Topeka Chapter, No. 5, Zabud Council No. 4, and the Armstrong Camp of the Spanish-American War Veterans. He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Mary Mischke, of the home; a niece and a nephew. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary.
