    3. The Topeka Daily Capital Friday August 27, 1910 Louis Heck Dies Of Heart Failure. Prof. Louis HECK, a well known musician of Topeka, died suddenly of heart failure early this morning. He was 73 years old and is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Clara GRILEY of California and Mrs. Kate GRILEY of Topeka, and one son, Frank HECK of California. Prof. Heck has lived in Topeka practically all his life and was connected with several musical organizations years ago. He directed a city band here about 30 years ago and was a long time director of the Arion Singing society. Previous to his settling in Topeka he was musical director in the original Sells Brothers circu. Of late years he has confined himself to home instruction on the violin. Prof. Heck died at the old Bethesda Hospital wehre he and his son-in-law John Griley had moved temporarily two days ago while Mr. Heck was having the home at 828 Quincy street remodeled for his daughter. No funeral arrangements have been made yet. These will depend on the arrival of the son and daughter from California.
