The Topeka Daily Capital Monday February 4, 1952 Edward H. Blangeres. Edward H. BLANGERES, 86, retired rural mail carrier, died Sunday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. H. D. Montgomery, Route 8. Mr. Blangeres was born April 14, 1865, in Jacksonville, Ill., and came to Topeka in 1889. He delivered mail on Route 4 for many years. After he retired, he began operating a greenhouse north of Topeka. Dahlias grown in his greenhouse won many prizes. He is survived by three other daughters, Mrs. Carl Lutz and Mrs. Kenneth W. Payne, both of Spokane, Wash., and Mrs. Arthur Reynolds, Topeka; four sons, Charles and Roy Blangeres, both of Spokane, Wash., Fred Blangeres, Coeur d' Alene, Idaho, and Clement Blangeres, Salina; and 13 grandchildren. Burial will be in Rochester Cemetery. Further arrangements hae not been completed.
