The Topeka Daily Capital Saturday January 5, 1952 Mrs. Dorothy Ward. Mrs. Dorothy WARD, former Topekan, died Thursday at her home in Iola, according to word received by her sister, Mrs. Athia Graham, 1215 Buchanan. Mrs. Ward, wife of Turner Ward, formerly lived at 1175 Lane and moved to Iola about a year ago. She was a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church and a former member of the church choir. Besides her husband she is survived by her mother, Mrs. Lucy Richardson, Iola; two nieces, Mrs. Genevieve Webb and Mrs. Fannie Preer, Topeka; and a nephew, Howard Preer, Topeka. Funeral services and burial will be in Iola.
