    3. The Topeka Daily Capital Saturday January 5, 1952 Lewis L. Alexander. Lewis L. ALEXANDER, 78, 115 East Gordon, died Thursday night in a Topeka hospital. He was born January 20, 1873, in Kentucky and settled in the Wanamaker district west of Topeka when he was nine years old. He was a boilermaker at the Santa Fe Shops for 18 years. He made his home on farm near Meriden from 1927 until 1944, before returning to Topeka. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Ralph Sarazen, Torrance, Calif.; Mrs. Charles Turner, New Orleans, La.; and Mrs. Gale Doerr, Denver, Colo.; five sons, William R., Clifford A., Frank L., Clarence D. and Raymond L. Alexander, all of Topeka; two sisters, Mrs. Will Fultz, Topeka, and Mrs. Albert Howey, Burbak, Calif.; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Eslinger's Funeral Home with burial in Mount Hope Cemetery.
